Pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima) is an annual herbaceous plant cultivated because of its fruit, flower and seeds.

Pumpkins have flexible, climber stems, large heart-shaped leaves with five lobes and marked veins, and abundant pilosity on both the leaves and the stem. The flowers are yellow, with fleshy petals and monoecious. The fruit is a type of berry with varied shapes (polyform); it can be elongated or spherical, with a color that varies from green to intense orange. The pulp has a yellowish-orange color and is dense, with a firm texture and a sweet flavor.
Pumpkins have numerous oval, convex, smooth 2 to 3 cm seeds, which have a white edible pulp inside, used to prepare traditional dishes. Pumpkins are also recommended on weight loss diets and to prevent heart disease.

Plantain (Musa acuminata) is a tropical herb from the Musaseae family, and one of the ancestors of bananas, Musa x paradisiaca. Currently, most plantations develop a variety obtained from the hybridization of M. acuminata and M. balbisiana, but there are still some genetically pure wild specimens, and many of them come from M. acuminata.

Yucca, also known as Manioc, Cassava or Mandioca (Manihot Esculenta) is a woody shrub of the Euphorbiaceae family, native to South America and the Pacific, and extensively cultivated for its edible starchy tuberous root, a major source of nutritional value, including fiber, protein and carbohydrates.

It has elongated shape with a brownish rind and a white pulp. Yucca is part of the basic diet of more than 500 million people in America, Asia and Africa, thanks to the variety in recipies and yucca derived flours.
